Make Ginseng Tea
Grate dried ginseng or whirl it quickly through a coffee grinder until you have coarse flakes. Put 1 to 2 tablespoons into a tea ball, a tea bag or the bottom of your cup or mug. Add water that has been heated to just below a boil, around 209 F. Let the tea steep for 2 to 3 minutes. Remove the tea ball or bag, or strain the tea. Add honey if you prefer your tea a little sweeter, though Chinese tradition dictates that it should be enjoyed as is.
